Solution provides billing for waste collection services either by volume, mass or number of collections by using RFID technology. It can be easily mounted on many types of utility vehicles. Once in operation, the system is fully automated.

Central unit, located in the vehicle cabin is an embedded computer based on ARM processor that runs operating system based on Linux. It controls the whole systems and collects, processes, stores and sends all the data to the cloud application in real time. It is designed to meet all current and future needs of EcoMobile system. LF RFID Reader
Low Frequency RFID reader is one of the most important component of the EcoMobile system. We have designed it to be very robust so it can operate in harsh environment. It is embedded in a rugged thermoplastic casing together with a specially designed antenna. Reader is ISO 11784 & ISO 11785 compliant and it is designed to work with DIN EN 30745 / EN 14803 / BDE conformant RFID tags. The whole process of reading RFID tags is done directly on the module so only digital signal is sent to the central unit.
Ultra High Frequency (UHF) RFID reader can be used with EcoMobile system. The UHF reader is great for applications requiring extended reading range and with embedded anticollision protocol it can identify multiple RFID transponders in the antenna field.

Control unit is the backbone of the EcoMobile system. It connects all of the system components and provides the connection to external components and devices. Control unit can accept expansion modules that further extend system connectivity and functionality. The unit has an interface for connecting:

Expansion modules provide additional interfaces and functionality to the EcoMobile system. Each expansion module is an embedded device connected to the system CAN Bus. They can fit inside of the Central or the Control unit and provide the following functionality:

We have designed special LED modules to meet the demands of the EcoMobile system. LED module composes of a six high powered LEDs that provide Red, Green and Blue lighting, all placed in a casing with IP65 protection. Light is passed through light diffuser that ensures visibility from all angles and in any ambiental conditions. LED modules and siren provide useful feedback to the workers during system operation. External sensors provide essential information about the waste collection process. The following sensors with open collector output (PNP or NPN) are supported:
Part of the EcoMobile system are various wireless handheld devices. One type is based on commercially available PDAs that work independently of the EcoMobile system through GPRS connection. The other type of handheld devices are custom developed to work as a part of the EcoMobile system. We’re continuously working on handheld devices to improve functionality and add new feature. The latest version has the following features:

ISM RF transceiver
SmartWaste is a device that monitors utilization of waste bins and containers. By using the ultrasound transducer, the level of a waste in a bin or a container can be measured and utilization can be estimated. The collected data is reported to the server through the GPRS connection, where the cloud based solution can be used to efficeantily dispatch waste collection units.
