Byte Lab has contributed by participating on “Positive weekend in Mostar”, an arduino summer workshop event where 26 young and promising High school students from Hercegovina were introduced in the exciting world of electrical engineering. These exceptional event was organized by Center for Technical Education Mostar in cooperation with Intera Technology Park.

The three day event started with opening speech and lecture where our team introduced our young students with theoretical content of electrical engineering and all the possibilities and opportunities of engaging with new technologies.

In workshop part of the event students were divided into teams with their mentors. Each team had their assignment. The students were thrilled when they saw the results of their effort, the first flash or engine turn.

For us this workshop was a unique experience and a chance to pass our knowledge to young minds that are interested in becoming engineers one day. We are certain that Byte Lab will participate in many more workshops like this one where we can contribute by motivating and interesting young students about exciting world of electrical engineering.

Judging by the impressions of the participants, the objective of the project was fulfilled in full and the objective was to awaken a desire of the high school students for electrical engineering, a profession with great added value and possibilities for successful career and progress. We are convinced that this is just a beginning of their creative development and new ideas. For some of them, there is a place in Byte Lab in the near future…
